Two sides fencing who are going to lose?

After away for vacation for few days coming back to see a green ugly fencing in front of my house is an eyesore. Who want to be restricted to the public garden especially when it should be shared among residence.

The developer - Plenitude had started the conflict by selling or splitting the Phase 8 to Phase 8a and 8b for monetary gain. The resident associations try to resolve to have common middle ground solution but unfortunately no one want to give way. Each one want to be in control of his own area and do not want to compromise. Meeting after meeting was held as reported in the RA blog but the solution given seem to be a lose lose.

Solution given by MPS as mediator:

1. Dismantle the fencing and have a common exit at 8A and 8B exit serve as emergency exit- Perceived Win for 8A Lose for 8B
2. Build another fencing at 8A and 8B get to keep their guardhouse and mind your own business - Lose for 8A and Lose for 8B. This is what happening now.

The deadlock to me is simply due to both parties are not going to compromise to lose control and do not trust the other side of taking care of the security of Phase 8.

Both side propose the same solution which is the exit will be at 8A and 8B respectively. 8A argue that 8B exit is illegal and off course 8B is denying that they will not legalise the exit. I wonder to both RA's ask the residents opinion and jointly held an AGM to select a common RA for both 8A and 8B? Whoever win have responsibility to take care 8A and 8B and take rational decision on the legality of only one exit. Whoever lose shall take heed and support the winner and continue to serve the resident and may come back to the next AGM for a chance to serve.

That is the true democracy and serve without complaining not being paid a single cent.
